The Champion of the Thames Pub
The Champion of the Thames, aka The Champ, is a traditional old boozer in the heart of Cambridge, frequented by students (most notably on quiz nights), locals (most notably every other night but quiz night), and by visitors to the city, who are more than likely being toured around King Street by the locals who know where all the city's best kept, off-the-beaten-track, secret gems are, and that's how YOU will more than likely find your way to us. You could also just google it or ask your friendly BID / Visit Cambridge Ambassador usually based around Market Square!
The Earl of Derby
The Earl of Derby in Cambridge offers excellent-value rooms just minutes away from the City Centre. Conveniently located within a 5-minute walk from Cambridge Train Station and 100 yards from the nearest bus stop, it provides easy access to major tourist attractions and surrounding areas. Fenders Cricket ground and Kings College are also within a short walking distance. The rooms in this Traditional Public House are equipped with TV, Wifi, tea and coffee-making facilities, bathrooms with baths and/or power showers, and complimentary toiletries. Overnight stay rooms are booked on a room-only basis, but guests can opt for a traditional cooked or continental breakfast served from 7:30 to 11:00 am, which can be booked on arrival. The Tram Depot
The Tram Depot is a pub steeped in history - originally the stables for Cambridge Street Tramways who operated a horse-drawn tramway service from 1880 to 1914. There’s an original section of track by the front door leading to a former tram shed, and you’ll find a life-size model tram coming out from the front of the pub, which gives the pub that memorable wow factor! The Tram Depot is an iconic building within the stunning city of Cambridge.
