The Champion of the Thames Pub

The Champion of the Thames, aka The Champ, is a traditional old boozer in the heart of Cambridge, frequented by students (most notably on quiz nights), locals (most notably every other night but quiz night), and by visitors to the city, who are more than likely being toured around King Street by the locals who know where all the city's best kept, off-the-beaten-track, secret gems are, and that's how YOU will more than likely find your way to us. You could also just google it or ask your friendly BID / Visit Cambridge Ambassador usually based around Market Square!

Want to meet Cambridge’s largest resident? Head to the Museum of Zoology, where you’ll be greeted by an enormous fin whale skeleton. Measuring 21-metres, it’s one of the largest of its kind ever recorded, and fills the entrance hall end to end.
