The dining room, situated in the conservatory, is the perfect combination of formal and informal – an intimate environment with a friendly atmosphere. A window to the kitchen opens onto the action, where Chef Patron Daniel Clifford and his team are busy constructing precise, thoughtful dishes. Clifford has been refining and evolving the menu for over twenty five years to ensure guests have the highest quality experience. After receiving 2 Michelin stars for his elegant and sophisticated style, Clifford leads Midsummer House effortlessly into its third decade of culinary excellence.

In this quaint Victorian-era cottage on Midsummer Common, guests should expect the unexpected. Talented front of house performers take diners through a sensory theatre of food, presenting unique and imaginative dishes with flair. With flavour combinations like Loch Duart salmon with white chocolate and caviar, the menu is sure to surprise and delight.

Upstairs there is a private dining room, a welcoming lounge and terrace for after dinner drinks with river views.   The private dining room is the perfect location for small weddings, lavish birthday celebrations, simple family gatherings or corporate entertaining.   You can also relax in the beautiful garden, which comes with outdoor heating for the cooler days and evenings.
