Words by Gill Hornby, music adapted by Carl Davis from his score for the classic 1995 BBC TV adaption of Jane Austen’s novel, starring Jennifer Ehle and Colin Firth

Join us at 7.30 pm on Saturday 23 June 2024 for a special evening, as Jane Austen’s Pride and Prejudice is brought to life through words and music by Susan Rutherford (Narrator), Leora Cohen (Violin) & Paul Wingfield (Piano) in the ideal setting of Newnham College’s Old Labs (show lasts approximately 90 minutes). There will be a short introduction by renowned Jane Austen expert, Professor Janet Todd CBE. This event is a tribute to the amazing film/TV composer Carl Davis, who sadly died on 3 August 2023.
