6:30pm – Two course meal and welcome drink, plus performance – £49.50
7:30pm – Performance only – £19.50

In a programme put together following high-demand after the passing of this great jazz crooner in 2023, jazz singer Robin Phillips remembers the incomparable Tony Bennett. Frank Sinatra called him ‘the best in the business’ and he was so much more than a singer of popular songs. As his bands reduced in size due to necessity in the middle of the 20th century, Tony honed his art in singing with a uniquely personal touch, recording many of the great jazz standards and peaking with one of the best jazz vocal recordings of all time, The Tony Bennett Bill Evans Album.

Tony had a hugely powerful voice and a great range, but could also communicate with such a personal touch, singing so emotionally and intimately you could feel you were the only person in the room. He was also a great singer of what became the lost introductions of the jazz standards.

In this programme Robin will perform in quartet line-up, as he shares his favourite Bennett songs, from the most famous, to the less well-known ones that Robin has a deep connection with.

Guests with dining tickets will be served dinner at the same seats they enjoy the performance from, with the main course served before the performance, and dessert served during the interval.
