Summer of Play at Anglesey Abbey

Get ready for an action-packed Summer of Play at Anglesey Abbey from 20 July to 1 September, sponsored by Starling Bank.

  • 9:30 am - 5:30 pm

Join us at Anglesey Abbey for a boogie in the Disco Den, challenge your friends to a race or a game of badminton, and get your creativity flowing with craft days, story times and more! We will have five creative and interactive play zones around the gardens as well as balance bike hire for 2-to-4-year olds during Summer of Play. These zones with multiple activities will be available to enjoy every day in the gardens from 20 June to 1 September. There’s plenty to keep you busy and come back for more throughout the summer holidays.

In addition to the above activities, we will also have some extra activities on the following days:

Every Monday: Story time, 11am – 3pm

Every Friday: Lunchtime disco, 11am – 3pm

On Wednesdays:

Face painting on 24 July, 11.30am – 2pm

Get crafty on 31 July and 7 August, 11am – 3pm

Bubble shows are back on 14 and 21 August, 1pm – 3pm

And have a go and gain a new skill with Archery sessions on Tuesday 20 and 27 August, £4 per person. No need to pre-book.

Normal admission applies for all activities. Free entry to the grounds for National Trust members.
