Adventure awaits you on an unforgettable Cambridge hot air balloon ride.

Experience this historic city from a different perspective, a bird’s eye view. Our launch site is at Little Gransden Airfield, where you will meet the balloon crew and have the opportunity to help prepare the balloon for flight.
Once the balloon has been inflated, it’s to float up, up and away! As you drift skywards, the countryside will open up under your feet. Depending on where the wind takes you, you may spot Kings College Chapel and Cambridge University Library, or maybe even the Fitzwilliam Museum. Whichever direction you travel in, you’ll be sure to enjoy magnificent views.
The flight will last around 1hr and once you’re back on the ground, you’ll have the chance to help deflate and pack away the balloon. Then it’s time for a prosecco toast to celebrate a wonderful balloon ride with your fellow passengers. You’ll then be transported back to the launch site.

A hot air balloon ride is a truly unique adventure, one that you’ll treasure for a lifetime.

Please note:  The address given here is for the launch site only, not where you purchase your flight vouchers. You can purchase your flight vouchers on our website.

Did you know?

Bringing the river to life in raucous style each June, ‘The Bumps’ are a chaotic series of rowing races. In this Cambridge tradition, which dates back to the early 19th Century, boats set out in single file and must catch and touch, or ‘bump’, the boat ahead without being caught by the rowers on their tail.
